Congratulations to Dr. Max Steuer for being named “Top Doctors” in Atlanta Magazine’s annual guide of Atlanta physicians! Dr. Steuer was recognized in the July issue of Atlanta Magazine, taking his place among 1,002 stellar physicians across 62 specialties. This is not his first year on this list, as Dr. Steuer has been on it annually since 2015.
Atlanta Magazine uses a database compiled by Castle Connolly to assist in its selection for the annual “Top Doctors” issue. Castle Connolly Top Doctors is a health care research company and the official source for Top Doctors for the past 25 years, which helps to guide consumers to America’s top doctors and hospitals. To compile the annual “Top Doctors” list, Castle Connolly evaluates several criteria when selecting Top Doctors, including professional qualifications, education, research leadership, professional reputation and disciplinary history. The company also asks doctors in the survey to consider not only the training and clinical skills of the physicians they nominate, but also interpersonal skills such as listening and communicating effectively, demonstrating empathy, and instilling trust and confidence. Doctors do not and cannot pay to be selected and profiled as Castle Connolly Top Doctors.
